But, then, he shoots himself in a Hansom Cab Penny Green, a Fleet Street reporter, witnesses the inventor’s death. He suspects that the clue to his suicide is in a mysterious note he left. But, can she convince Inspector James Blakely from Scotland Yard? Is it a crime?
This series is addictive to me. It is amazing how fast each book flows. Gets right into the action. Since book one, I have been jumping around a lot. This series is available for others to enjoy, so I have someone to talk to It.
Penny’s independence is what I love about her. Yes, there are. It can be romantic, but it isn’t complete consumerism. Her thoughts. She is smart and can put pieces together in crimes. Others may not see it (or want to see it). It was the mystery. Interesting, but it didn’t keep me on my feet as the rest. The series.
Although I found the story of “Maria” interesting, it was not my favorite. It didn’t go as I expected. It was all in my head. Penny’s father was known to have “Maria” as a connection to Penny. Some fashion. This book left me feeling a bit disappointed. The plot behind her father’s disappearance. It was mentioned, but it wasn’t something I felt. It seems like it was pushed to one side in The Inventor. I’m grateful. I was intrigued to see where this storyline takes us.
The relationship between Penny and James is making me mad. Point. It borders on being an affair, and it doesn’t bother me. Mr. Edwards This book grew on me, so I’m more interested to see his following books. James has a deeper relationship with Penny than James. Their dynamic is just felt weird and a bit wrong at The Inventor. I was openly not a fan of flirting with my partner, but it didn’t feel right. I am pretty Over Penny and James, but some of it may be because I began the next Today, I read during my lunch break. I did finish The Inventor. I read it a while back but haven’t had time to review it thoroughly.
Overall, The Inventor by Emily Organ was a good read, but not my favorite. In the series. Curse of the Poppy will have more touches on my part. The mystery surrounding the disappearance of dad. A budding photographer, too Relationship with Mr. Edwards
The Inventor is set against the beauty, mystery and dangers. It’s a romantic and moving love story by one of our most acclaimed contemporary fiction authors.
The book, The Inventor is considered one of his best masterpiece.
The Normal read time of “The Inventor” is just over 8 hours, nevertheless if you’ve got the hardcover book as I do, then it was easily read in about four and an half hour. Overall The Inventor fiction book was amazing, short read time and simple to understand.
The Inventor is one of the best historical fiction allows you to get lost in the eras long past. The Inventor is an ideal reading inspiration for when it’s hard to focus on other times and places.
