Summary | The Rookery

The Rookery, the second book in Emily Organ’s Penny Green series, is by Emily Organ. It occurs shortly after Limelight ends. Penny is in a sling from She was trying to solve the murder her friend Lizzie Dixie had committed. Penny is robbed as she walks past St. Giles is a rough area in Victorian London. Inspector James Blakely arrives, Penny receives the first-hand news from Penny about the case. Paper. They are both manipulated by the killer on numerous occasions. Before being caught, he caused havoc in St Giles.

The Rookery was enjoyable but not as much for me as Limelight. It was a great story. It was good and kept me intrigued. It’s nice to have a mystery within a mystery as to what happened to her father. I wish that the third book reveals more of this. It was exciting to learn that we had a kind of I was able to see Penny’s motherly side and see her as an aunt. In the next book, Penny may find a romantic partner. I’m curious to find out where it goes. There are many options.

The Rookery was a good read. There are some things that I wish were done differently. Emily Organ kept giving a lot of suspects, which was a nice touch. However, once the pseudonym was established, it was easy to identify it. Shown just before the character’s full names. Both Limelight, as well as The Rookery, used secret letters and handwriting to keep its secrets. It was interesting in the first book. But, seeing something similar in The Second was a bit underwhelming. It felt like there was also a Similarity in how the murderers in both books dressed up and lurked around the funerals. It felt like the author because of these similarities. The formula was to solve the mystery.

The identity of the killer was not surprising to me. However, it did surprise me that the motive. I enjoyed It made him a serial killer and made me want to explore the subject further. Its psychology. I also felt a Jack the Ripper vibe from it. It was a great experience. I also loved the imagery Emily Organ created to celebrate St. Giles. I Imagine a poor area filled with a maze full of squatters. Streets with poor lighting

Overall, The Rookery was a great experience. I plan to keep going with it. The series. It just needs a little more creativity. Mystery and the fact that it was different from the first book. Each of the books I believe is true. Books are available for as low as $5.00 on Kindle Unlimited. You can get the Option to purchase one. It’ll be an excellent addition to #2 on the Reading Challenge list is a book that costs less than $5 Side note: The summary states it It can be read in any order. However, I doubt that it’s true. I highly recommend it. We recommend that you read Limelight first.

The Rookery is set against the beauty, mystery and dangers. It’s a romantic and moving love story by one of our most acclaimed contemporary fiction authors.

The book, The Rookery is considered one of his best masterpiece.

The Normal read time of “The Rookery” is just over 8 hours, nevertheless if you’ve got the hardcover book as I do, then it was easily read in about four and an half hour. Overall The Rookery fiction book was amazing, short read time and simple to understand.

The Rookery is one of the best historical fiction allows you to get lost in the eras long past. The Rookery is an ideal reading inspiration for when it’s hard to focus on other times and places.
