Long Road to Mercy by David Baldacci is an excellent book for all the mystery and thriller lovers.
This gripping novel not only delivers exciting suspense but also serves to introduce a new character to the world of FBI detectives – a somewhat dark character with a spine-chilling backstory, Atlee Pine. Whether you are interested in checking the book out or getting the audio, I will expose my perspective and feelings in this review.

This is an action-packed novel with excellent suspense that keeps the reader feeling the writer’s creative strokes. First, it is worth noting that the protagonist of the show is Atlee Pine, the chief of detectives, and she is strong-willed and tenacious. She has been through the traumatic experience of her twin sister, Mercy, being kidnapped at the age of six years of age.
The story is based in the grand canyon and a mule has been killed and the rider is no where to be seen. Atlee too joins in the operation but he is taken off before he can start proceeding with the investigations. Nevertheless, she persists in her duties to expose the truth only to stumble upon the evil plot.
The book can be conferred to the circle of mystery and crime thriller literature. It has good characterisation for the characters involved, it has an interesting plot and a good emotional appeal. About the Issue, this writer use short sections and unexpected turns to make the reader interested.
Long Road to Mercy is a book for those who like FBI thriller with the main character – a woman. This is probably in an attempt to make reading easier and to ensure that one can enjoy the book as it was being read to him. Listening to the stories is entertainment finished towards the teller ,this season does have its purpose used well makes it a great book.
