The Bourne Betrayal – Jason Bourne Book 5: Already devastated by the loss, Bourne is devastated by the news report that his friend, Martin Lindros, has gone missing. Lindros, a CI vice-director Lindros has been missing since Ethiopia looking for suspicious cargoes of yellowcake Uranium and nuclear bombs. As the last line of defense for the world, Bourne will not let Lindros go.
Despite his hate towards CI, Bourne sets out to save his friend and complete his task of destroying an extremist network determined to construct nuclear weapons by cutting off their primary source of cash.
However, Bourne isn’t aware that these guys, Islamic supremacists, are the leaders of a hazardous, technologically sophisticated group that has ties to Africa, throughout the Middle East, and into Eastern Europe and Russia. They’ve predicted every Bourne move and are dependent on him unknowingly in their plan to destroy America.

About Eric Van Lustbader
Eric Van Lustbader was born in Greenwich Village, New York City in 1946. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Columbia College in 1968. While still at Columbia College and working, he entered the entertainment industry, establishing his own company for music production which included collaboration with such groups as Cheap Trick, Mountain, and Blue Oyster Cult. He is the author of both thrillers and fantasy novels.
He has written a number of series, including The Pearl Saga Series, The Sunset Warrior Cycle, The China Maroc Series, and Nicholas Linnear/Ninja Cycle series. He is also the author of The Jason Bourne series, starting with book 4 alongside Robert Ludlum.
