Suzanne Collins was born on 10 August 1962. Her birthplace was Hartford, Connecticut, and she graduated from Indiana University with a double major in Drama and Telecommunications. Collins received an M.F.A. at New York University in dramatic writing. Since 1991, she’s been writing for television shows for children.
