In Under the Knife by Tess Gerritsen, I traced the life of attorney David Ransom, who sets out to work on what would appear to be a simple malpractice claim.
Next, there is a loud knock at the door, and Dr. Kate Chesne enters his office. She practically demands that he investigate further, accusing him of being framed.
When events progress, another patient dies, convincing David of the truthfulness of Kate’s story. Then, SHABAM! I was fully engaged in the hunt for a murderer who was freely moving into a hospital located in Honolulu.
The plot was full of mystery and suspense, contributing to my love of the show: David and Kate tried to solve the mysteries of the great hospital.
