Bloodstream by Tess Gerritsen: My honest thoughts on the book’s plot, characters, and overall impact.
The last book I read was Bloodstream by Tess Gerritsen, which was quite an experience. This medical suspense novel revolves around Dr. Claire Elliot, who is transferred to a small town in Tranquility, Maine, along with her son.
But then, several aggressive acts by the city’s youth disrupt the peaceful image of the place.
It does not take long for the audience to figure out that this is not the first time the town is experiencing such violence. The kids here are to go on a terrifying spree every fifty years. Refusing to leave, Claire feels that there might be something sinister lurking in the seemingly innocent Locust Lake.
As Claire begins her investigation, she finds that there is more than just death due to natural causes. In this part of the movie, she struggles to protect her son and the entire town from a horrifying plot.
