In The Surgeon, there is a maniac who goes from one house to another, and possibly, one woman to another, giving them terrible moments during their sleep. Popularly known in newspapers as ‘The Surgeon,’ these symptoms point to the fact that this man is obsessed with surgeries.
Detective Thomas Moore and his partner, Detective Jane Rizzoli, are the leading characters who are responsible for apprehending him. They decide to consult Dr. Catherine Cordell, who, to her assailant, was killed two years ago but later turned into a murderer. This new killer is also frightening in the way that he duplicates the events of Cordell’s attack and torments her as he gets closer.
In this part of the movie, Moore and Rizzoli try to protect Cordell from a hunter-type killer who enjoys the feeling of his ability to scare his victims. So, the drama unfolds when they try to solve the crime and identify the killer before it is too late, and the killer strikes once more.

Thus, the reader can read Surgeon within 6-8 hours, but I want to note that the book reflects the action and is full of concentration and intensity to make the reader nervous.
